CLASS SCHEDULE
AGILITY CLASSES-

INTRODUCTION TO AGILITY: A
7-week course beginning on
July 5th
from 7:00pm to 8:30pm; class each Monday with August 16th being the
last class.
The cost is $80. We will work on obstacles,
laying a foundation for later work in agility. We will teach
you the obedience needed for agility as well as how to perform each
obstacle safely. There are no perquisites other than the dog MUST BE UNDER CONTROL at
all times. Work on equipment will only be allowed
under an instructors supervision.
BEGINNER
AGILITY:
A 6-week course which immediately follows the Introduction to
Agility.
The class will run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Fee is
$70. Perquisite is introduction
to agility or a similar course somewhere else. We will
continue to work on obstacles while introducing some handling sequences.

Classes are every Tuesday. Small dogs (up to and including cocker size) at 7:00PM, large dogs at 8:00PM. Fee is $8.00 per hour per handler - no half hour increments. Shot record required for first class.
BCKC is pleased to announce they will be starting a new Beginner Handling class this fall!

BEGINNER
NOVICE:
This is a 6-week course that
begins on Monday, October 18th
at
7:00 PM for one
hour.
Class will meet every Monday
through
November
22nd.
A Basic Manners/
Canine Good
Citizen, Puppy class or Boot Camp is a prerequisite.
The class will cover the
basic skills
required to compete in the Novice Performance competition.
Foundation work for
competition in Obedience,
Rally and Agility will be covered. The
cost is $60.00.

REMINDERS
For ALL
CLASSES, the dogs must have
their standard immunizations in
order to attend.
If you have any
questions, please call!!
Dogs in season
cannot attend the classes.
You may
attend without the dog.
Refunds will be
given for classes missed because of injury, illness or accident with a
written note
from your veterinarian.
There will be a
minimum of 4
dogs in a class with a maximum of 8 or the number specified by the
instructor.
Should a class not reach the
minimum limit, it will be necessary to cancel the class or at the
instructor’s
discretion.
If a class is canceled, all
enrollment money will be refunded. We
try to keep the number of participants in a class small so as to give
everyone
personal attention.
No harsh or abusive
training
will be allowed. We use toys, treats and praise in our training.

will assist you in making a decision according to your interests.

JANUARY 2011
RALLY
NOVICE:
This is a 6 week course that
will start on Monday, January 10th,
2011, at 7:00 PM. for
one hour
through February 14th This class will cover the exercises required to
obtain a
Rally Novice title.
A prerequisite for
this class would be the Puppy Class, Basic Manners/Canine Good Citizen
or the
Boot Camp.
The Rally stations will be
discussed and practiced along with 2 courses to practice on at each
class.
The rules and regulations for
Rally
will also
be discussed.
The cost is $60.00

PUPPY
CLASS:
Instructor Carole Atkinson
will again be having a 6 week Puppy Class that begins on Thursday,
January 13th at
7:00 PM for 1
hour.
Class will meet every
Thursday,
through
February 17th
. This
class is
for puppies 10 weeks to 5 months of age.
Sits, downs, leave it, stay,
wait, come when called and
socialization
will be covered.
Behaviors such as
housebreaking, biting, digging, etc. will also discussed as well as any
problem
behaviors which need attention.
The cost
is $60.00.
ADVANCED
NOVICE:
This is a 6-week course that
begins on Thursday, January 13th
at
7:00 PM for one
hour.
Class will meet every
Thursday
through February
17th
. The
prerequisite for
this class would be a Beginner’s Novice class.
It is not necessary that
class be taken from Belle-City Kennel
Club in
order to participate.
However, we will
build upon the exercises learned in Beginner’s Novice. The
cost is $60.00.

BOOT
CAMP:
This is a 4 week course that
is basically
the same as the Puppy Class only geared for dogs age 5 months and older. The
same material is taught, however on a
level geared toward the older dog.
