Cleaning Day
BCKC Obedience Trial July 23 and 24.
Your help is needed to make our trial a success. There are many areas where you can volunteer and get service hours and rewards points.
A successful work day on July 16 will help a great deal. The floor usually gets its yearly scrubbing at this time. We have solution for scrubbing the dirty spots and steam mops for going over the entire floor. We need younger members to man this operation. If you want to get a team together and do floor cleaning at a different time other than the work day, that works too.
As far as the actual trial is concerned, we need younger members to vacuum the floor Friday afternoon/evening July 22 and a crew to vacuum after the Saturday and Sunday trials. You can volunteer by contacting Bill Taylor or Ann Alves. Please let us know if you will help so we can plan ahead and have one less chore on the agenda.
On Friday, July 22 after vacuuming, we need volunteers to tape off the crating areas. This worked well last year but again, we need younger members to crawl on the floor and put down the painter’s tape.
If you would like to ring steward for obedience or rally or both, please contact Joan Seipp.
If you would like to donate baked goods or help in the kitchen, please contact Kara Wilson.
